- Hi,
-
- Today I received a note from a guy who is having
- trouble loading reading PhotoCD disks with an
- Archos CD drive. I`m not too certain of his setup,
- but I presume the Archos is a PCMCIA device, and
- is connected to a 2M chip, 4M fast ram A1200 with
- 100 MB HD.
- Apparently when a PhotoCD is inserted into the drive
- the computer crashes. Anybody have any ideas? I can
- solve the problem of not having the right software to
- import PCD images into Photogenics or whatever else, but
- if the machine crashes before reading the files I can`t
- do much about it.
-
- I`d be very grateful if anyone could advise on
- compatability problems with this drive, and
- whether there are any new drivers to solve the
- problem.
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
